Pre purchase check

Uneasy and don’t want to land up with buyers regret? Are you getting what you paid for or are there problems around the corner that no one told you about?

A pre purchase check prior to buying your new horse is a sure fire way to

• identify possible current and foreseeable problems
• use as a bargaining chip in the buying process
• obtain reasonable surety of the quality of the horse you want to buy.
  

Wouldn’t it be great if there were no nasty surprises after you’d already purchased your horse?

Whilst a horse may not fail their vet check, it stands to reason that there may be an underlying gait abnormality or lameness that the seller has not told you about – and that can’t be picked up by your vet.

Whilst these conditions are often not chronic or permanent (and most often can be treated successfully) you want to make sure that you:

• know what you’re getting

• get the most competitive price for the horse you want to buy

By doing a pre purchase diagnostic check of your horse I can identify problems within the neuro-musculoskeletal system, gait abnormalities and check for symmetry in the horse which will ensure that you get what you pay for and have the peace of mind that there are no surprises that may arise shortly after your purchase which may be very costly to you.
