Polo

Polo is a demanding exercise both physically and mentally: keeping your horse in peak performance will help you play the ‘game of kings’ to perfection

Whilst Polo is a game of the genteel, there’s no way round the fact that Polo horses work hard…and it shows.

Common complaints that your horse may exhibit include:

  1. Shoulder problems related to riding off against another horse

  2. Pelvic problems due to the quick stops, tight cornering and barging

  3. Developed or overdeveloped muscles on the underside of the neck

  4. A hollow back which produces weak back muscles and tension behind the saddle

From a chiropractic point of view, it is quite apparent that the speed and physical nature of the game will make the polo horse a good candidate for regular chiropractic treatment throughout the playing season to ensure his peak performance.

We help you keep your horse in optimum health…promoting strength and suppleness that enables you to put them through their paces easily and well.

What we do during an initial equestrian chiropractic treatment

During our initial equestrian chiropractic treatment, we…

  • Assess complete range of motion in all joints

  • Pinpoint which joints are at the root of the horses problem.

  • Chiropractic adjustments …invaluable in restoring physiological and psychological health.
